A Note From Jenni to You
“I am a full-time mom and therapist. I'm a real person who has the same day-to-day struggles you do. I question if I'm a "good enough" mama, a "good enough" friend, a "good enough" therapist. I wake up every day vowing to accomplish everything on my to-do list...knowing full well that I'll be lucky to get through half of it. I have mom fails and mom guilt.
Your are not alone. You do not have to do this alone.
I know how uncomfortable and vulnerable you can feel when you start the search for outside help for your child, no matter if they are still little, in the throws of "teenager-hood", or have ventured off to college.
As the parent, you feel like YOU should be the one who has all the answers, and that if you seek outside help, then you have somehow failed as a parent.
I am here to tell you that that type of thinking couldn't be further from the truth! The fact that you are brave enough to ask for help confirms that you are an AWESOME parent who will do anything to help their child and family.”
